Located in both Fairfield and Franklin counties and part of the Columbus Metro area. It covers quite a bit of land is and is found just southeast of downtown between Interstate 70 and Highway 33. Home to just over 20,000 residents, this suburb of Columbus is excellent for housing, public schools, nightlife, diversity, and may be one of the perfect places to buy a home and enjoy life.
 
Pickerington has been around since 1815 and was originally known as Jacksonville, named after Andrew Jackson until 1827 when local citizens petitioned the state to change the name to Pickerington in honor of its founder, Abraham Pickering.

Pickerington is known for the Motorcycle Hall of Fame, an offshoot of the American Motorcyclist Association, which recognizes individuals who have contributed to motorcycle sport, construction, and motorcycling in general. There are a total of about 606 teachers, 79% of them offering master's degrees with a high number of parents and students approving of classroom teachers educating students and increasing the quality of education being offered.
